Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new method of designing a passive vibration control system. The standpoint is that the structure of the passive vibration control system is similar to that of a PD controller. Variable parameters of one-degree-of-freedom passive isolation device, i.e. spring and damper, are considered as the feedback gain of the PD controller. After that, frequency characteristics of the open-loop transfer function of the transformed system with PD controller are optimized in the suitable restriction by GKYP lemma.
