Abstract

Introduction: Pregnancy and childbirth are one of the main risk factors for developing pelvic floor disorders (PFD). Mathematical modeling suggests key role of the first delivery yet we have limited epidemiological data describing subsequent deliveries. Objective: Prospective longitudinal study focused on assessment of PFD after two consecutive deliveries. Methods: Study visits were arranged 1 year after the first (I.D) and the second delivery (II.D). Patients were asked about PFD, specifically stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
