Abstract

Introduction and aims of the study: Chronic inflammation of the endometrial lining may negatively affect fertility outcomes. Office hysteroscopy offers a direct visualization of the uterine cavity however, immunohistochemistry provides an accurate diagnosis in cases of chronic endometritis. The study aims to determine the prevalence of chronic endometritis in patients with unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss or recurrent implantation failure after in vitro fertilization, and to assess the value of office hysteroscopy in chronic endometritis’ diagnosis.
