Abstract
This paper proposes a new optical design method to realize the anti‐glare characteristics of the rearview mirror. The reflectivity of the mirror can be adjusted from 41.8% to 10.6% by the phase modulation of liquid crystal optics, and the display performance of the device is maintained well simultaneously compared with the EC anti‐glare device.
