Abstract

Fibroids of the uterus develop from the muscular layer and can bulge into the uterine cavity. The European Society for Hysteroscopy defined three types of fibroids (0, 1 and 2) depending on their intramural involvement, and this classification can be useful to choice the right surgical approach. The hysteroscopic resection can be easily performed if you follow few recommendations and procedures. The video clearly shows some of these tips, and describes with the aid of 3D simulation some helpful step of the hysteroscopic myomectomy in order to get the finest result.
