Abstract

Introduction: Dual source CT has doubled temporal resolution and improved image quality for higher heart rates in the evaluation of heart disease. The addition of spectral CT to dual-source CT with the first clinical dual-source photon-counting CT (dsPCCT) further enhances the diagnostic utility of CT with spectral results that enable material separation and quantification crucial for accurate characterization, i.e. size of stenosed lumen.
