Abstract
This paper describes the method of energy-saving for absorption air-conditioning systems by means of cooling water flow rate control. By this method, the flow rate of the cooling water is regulated as a function of both the ambient air temperature and cooling load conditions. By means of this method, energy consumption of the pump for cooling water is whole to 80% of conventional systems. To make this system fit for practical use, the cooling water flow rate control method was considered in conjunction with cooling output control. The effect of changing cooling water flow rate on the absorption cycle was also studied.
