Abstract

Introduction: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in the United States and Black patients have increased risk factors for cardiovascular disease compared to non-Hispanic whites. This study was designed to analyze coronary plaque characteristics between non-Hispanic whites and patients of Haitian descent to determine if there is a difference in cumulative plaque and plaque morphology.
