Abstract

AbstractNew approach for electronic hologram creation and 3‐dimensional image capturing on the basis of acoustooptical principles is considered. The features of acoustooptical interaction, such as spectral and spatial selectivity, relatively slow velocity of sound waves, ability for frequency shifting, simple method of optical heterodyning, easy way for angular and spatial control of optical beam give great advantages for creation of effective holographic system for 3D images capturing and reconstruction. Recent results of our investigation in this area such as new architecture of acoustooptical scanning holographical system as well as the estimation of main parameters are presented.
