Abstract

By neutron diffraction measurement after tensile deformation in ferritic steel, it was found the anisotropic work-hardening behavior depending on the crystal orientation of each grains. The work-hardening behavior was also affected by the strain-age hardening. In the present study, TEM observation was conducted on the several crystal orientation in deformed ferritic steel in order to discuss the structure of dislocations. The crystal orientation of grains were measured by EBSD before the TEM observation. As a result, network like dislocations were found in the <100> grains along the pre-strained direction.
