Abstract

Introduction: Cine Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) provides exceptional spatial resolution for the assessment of left ventricular (LV) contractile function. However, reliable measurement of LV volume and myocardial mass (LVM) over different cardiac phases imposes a major burden for manual delineation. We propose an artificial intelligent (AI) system to automatically segment the LV and LVM from Cine CTA images and compare the results with Cine Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) measurements.
