Abstract
When a damage accident occurred in a fast breeder core, the dissolving metal fuel leak which invades a sodium pool. Then solidification and crush of the dissolution metal happen by FCI. It is thought that a jet occurring by the division of the atmospheric layer crush. In this study, Our purpose is to examine a phenomenon of the FCI. By the experiment, we let a solid ball fall to a water tank and observe the formation and collapse of cavity around the solid ball after the surface of the water collision with a high-speed camera. By the analysis, we examine the behavior of the surface tension and analyze a jet.
