Abstract

Introduction: Left ventricular (LV) mass is a well-established predictor of major adverse cardiovascular events. Cardiac magnetic resonance is the gold-standard for LV mass measurement, however cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) is an equally accepted modality and has been shown to have prognostic value. In this study, we aimed to develop, validate, and test a fully automated artificial intelligence based system capable of quantifying LV mass on CCTA.
