Abstract

Abstract Tabulated pseudopotentials are used to obtain the 4 OPW wave functions and Fermi surface of Al and the scattering potentials of Ge, Mg, Zn, and Ga impurities. The anisotropic relaxation time is calculated in Born approximation and iterating the Boltzmann equation for zero magnetic field. The coefficients of Hall effect, transverse and longitudinal magnetoresistance are described by Fermi surface integrals. Without adjusted parameters our numerical results agree surprisingly well with experiment.
