Abstract

With the fast development of DC microgrid (MG) technology, its modeling, control, and energy management are getting more and more concerns. In this chapter, the system structure and the math model of each DC MG subsystem are studied. What's more, a DC MG experiment platform is built to verify its control ability and energy management performance. On this basis, the distributed generations control methods based on their operating characteristic are introduced. In order to the optimal power distribution of the multisource hybrid DC MG, two energy management strategies based on classical PI control and state machine control are evaluated in the DC MG experiment platform under different operating conditions. Moreover, the analysis and comparing of the results are introduced in this chapter.
