Abstract
Abstract4,5α‐Epoxy‐3‐methoxy‐8β‐nitro‐6β, 14β‐ethenomorphinan (5) was isolated as one of two major cycloaddition products of 6‐demethoxy‐17‐formylnorthebaine (3) and nitroethene. Structure elucidation was mainly based on 1H NMR data.
