Abstract

Due to two nodes in the fermionic energy gap the normal fermionic quasiparticles take part in 3He-A dynamics even at T=0, producing a singular behavior of 3He-A at low temperatures. Near the nodes the fermionic quasiparticles interacting with the order parameter field are identical to massless right-handed electrons and left-handed positrons interacting with electromagnetic, weak and gravitational fields. As a result, the peculiarities in behavior of 3He-A (anomalous mass current, nonanalytic gradient expansion, nonconservation of the linear momentum of superflow at T=0, paradox of the orbital momentum, non-zero normal density at T=0, etc) are of the same origin as the chiral anomaly and vacuum polarization effects in quantum electrodynamics (QED).
