Abstract
In the title compound, C19H16O3, the dihedral angle between the chromanone moiety and the methoxy phenyl ring is 16.47 (1)°. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating R 2 2(14) inversion dimers; further C—H...O hydrogen bonds connect the dimers into [100] double chains.
