Abstract

In this paper we present for the first time inkjet 3D printed lab-on-a-chip for DNA analyse by on-chip gel electrophoresis. Separation of 50÷800bp DNA ladder was successfully performed. According to our best knowledge it is the first example of such application of 3D printed microfluidics structure. Thanks to advantages of 3D printing it is possible to develop lab-on-a-chip with user defined configuration with less than 3hours and estimated costs pre chip less than 1 EUR.
