Abstract

We are conducting research on fine particle preparation double network gel (P-DN gel) which can be applied to 3D printer technology and is capable of high-intensity three-dimensional freeforming. Like the double network gel, the P-DN gels is composed of monomers having two different structures, a hard and brittle mesh structure (1st gel) and a flexible and extensible network structure (2nd gel). In our previous studies, the structure of the P-DN gels has been investigated with a scanning microscopic light scattering device. In this study, we attempted to improve the accuracy of measurement by adding latex particles to the P-DN gels. As a result, the intensity of the scattered light was emphasized compared with ordinary P-DN.
