Abstract

In this paper, 3D steady-state equations of heat conduction as well as its equivalent functional equation are presented under a rectangular coordinate system. The 3D isoparametic finite element method of hexahedron and eight nodes and Newton-Raphson method are applied to solve the 3D stator nonlinear temperature field, in which the surface coefficient of heat transfer couples with the surface temperature of different parts. Subsequently, the numerical method is used to analyze the influence of coefficient of heat conductivity on stator temperature field, especially when the coefficient of beat conductivity varies after the insulation lamination.
