Abstract

The crushing roller is one of the main parts of a high-pressure grinding roller, which is a type of highly efficient ore crushing equipment. In the work reported in this paper, a kind of assembled roller, which is more convenient in the renovation of worn surface by simply replacing the segmented surface of the roller, was developed. The structural models of the assembled roller’s components were designed with solid works software, and the stress and displacement of the main shaft and surface segments in two different working states were analyzed quickly using COSMOS/Works software. Furthermore, an optimum clearance of 1.0–2.0 mm between the concave–convex studded segments is determined to prolong the working life of the assembled roller.
