Abstract
We report a study on three-dimensional transmission aperture of terahertz (THz) Bull's Eye structure. By applying three-dimensional aperture to a Bull's Eye structure, it is possible to achieve a higher intensity of electric field and localization of electric field distribution than a conventional Bull's Eye structure having two-dimensional aperture. In addition, it can also be utilized in measurement when the sample surface has roughness, which is useful in sensing and imaging applications.
