Abstract

Patients with a short cervix on ultrasound who live in areas remote from tertiary care centers may receive confirmatory ultrasounds, emergent air transport, or prolonged hospital stays due to limited healthcare resources at home. The purpose of this study was to estimate the cost-efficacy of universal cervical length screening with progesterone treatment in populations distant from tertiary care centers.
