Abstract
Introduction and aims of the Study: A “handover” entails the transfer of information as well as responsibility of patients between medical professionals. This audit was performed to see if the admission book, which lists details of patients admitted into the OBGYN department in Mater Dei Hospital, are being filled in. Methods: The audit was carried out by collecting data from the admission book between January-August 2019. Variables collected included; patient details, patient ward, caring consultant and management plan.
