Abstract

T-bet is a transcription factor known to direct Type 1 lineage commitment in CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, though its role in allograft rejection remains incompletely understood. Using the murine heterotopic tracheal transplant model (HTT) for obliterative airway disease (OAD), we studied the effect of T-bet deficiency on OAD pathology and the character of T cell effector responses to airway allografts.
