Abstract
The uterus, cervix, and upper vagina are of Mullerian origin. Mullerian anomalies include a spectrum of phenotypes. Cervical agenesis is usually associated with vaginal agenesis, but can occur with the presence of a fully developed midline uterus. Hemiuteri or rudimentary uteri are usually associated with cervical agenesis and the absence of a vagina on that ipsilateral side.
