Abstract

Abstract Chyle leaks are seen even after preserving or electively clipping the thoracic duct during esophagectomy. One of the reasons for this is the variations in the course, calibre and anatomy of thoracic duct. ICG Fluorescence navigation can highlight these variations and aid in enhancing the safety of esophageal surgery. This video demonstrates some variations of thoracic duct seen by ICG Fluorescence.
