Abstract
The objective of this video is to present the surgical steps for a robotic assisted laparoscopic vesicovaginal fistula repair. In this video we present the steps of a robotic assisted laparoscopic vesicovaginal fistula repair, beginning with placement of ureteral stents as well as stenting the tract itself for improved identification during dissection. The steps of tract excision, dissection, and a tension free closure are illustrated. Various techniques for vesicovaginal fistula repair have been described, traditionally completed via a vaginal approach. However, in patients with limited vaginal access vesicovaginal fistula repair performed with robotic assistance is a reasonable alternative.
