Abstract
Background: Since the introduction of the National Bowel Screening Program in 2006, polypectomy is one of the largest caseloads in anatomical pathology with a reported rate of malignancy ranging from 0.7% to 5.6%. Prognostication and further management depends on the pathological features. Pathology reports are the sole document for communication of information.
