Abstract

The display with blackened metal backplane presents superior decorative black appearance or high optical density (OD) light shielding integrated to optical fingerprinting senor. In this paper, we have fabricated two‐layer blackened metal wiring by high resolution patterning techniques with dry etching method and optimized the reflectivity of the novel blackened material. It has been utilized to an optical in‐cell fingerprint LCD to improve the reflectivity, which achieves 64% reflectivity reducing and lower than previous one. And it also has been employed for achieving narrowed line‐width high and high optical density demand for collimated layer in optical fingerprint sensor integrated to an OLED display.
