Abstract
Skin-related side effects of cancer treatment, a recurring complaint from patients, lead to further deterioration in patient’s quality of life (QOL). Patients also develop skin sores or cracks, causing discomfort or pain and increasing infection risks. The study objective was to assess skin acceptability in patients undergoing cancer treatment and receiving an emollient containing shea butter, Thermal Spring Water, niacinamide, microresyl and Aqua Posae Filiformis as actives. 47 patients were included, 42 were eligible for analysis.
