Abstract
Disparities between patients with skin of color (SOC) and dermatology providers with SOC remain prominent. Graduating U.S. dermatology residents should be comfortable caring for this underserved population. We aimed to evaluate U.S. dermatology residents’ comfort in performing cosmetic and surgical procedures in their patients with SOC. 143 dermatology residency programs identified using the AMA-FREIDA online database. A survey link was sent to the program directors and chief residents to forward to all current residents.
