Abstract

Prevalence of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and access to supportive care in France, Brazil, Russia, the USA, and China There is no unambiguous definition of supportive care in cancer (SCC). No international comparative evaluation of SCC access has been performed. The objectives of this study were: 1) to assess the prevalence of treatment with radiotherapy (RT) and/or chemotherapy (CT) in the general adult population in 5 countries (France, China, Russia; and Brazil), and 2) to evaluate the use of different SCC services in this subpopulation.
