Abstract

Targeted therapy and immunotherapy opens a new era in the treatment of lung cancer. However, for the majority of patients who do not harbor certain molecular alterations, chemotherapy still plays a critical role in the treatment strategy. Neutropenia is a major dose-limiting toxicity of myelosuppressive chemotherapy and has been commonly found in lung cancer patients treated with platinum-based chemotherapy. Mecapegfilgrastim (code name HHPG-19K), a long-acting PEGrhG-CSF and a biosimilar to pegfilgrastim.
