Abstract

Cutaneous angiosarcomas are rare, highly aggressive tumors characterized by endothelial differentiation with a 5-year survival rate of around 10-40%. A 38-year-old female, with no significant history, presented a 4-week lesion of rapid and progressive growth, with spontaneous bleeding, asymptomatic. On physical examination, a 15-mm nodular neoformation on the dorsum of the first finger of the left hand was found. It had an erythematous-purple color, well-defined borders and a collarette scale on its surface.
