Abstract

Endoscopic transpapillary gallbladder stenting (ETGS) in patients with symptomatic gallbladder diseases is a safe and feasible bridge therapy for patients at high risk of surgery and complications, or for patients with terminal liver disease awaiting a transplantation. However, there are few reports considering the long-term results in terms of stent patency and natural clinical course.
