Abstract

A 31-year-old pregnant female at 35-weeks gestation presented with a 1-week history of a painful, generalized pustular eruption consisting of tender erythematous plaques embedded with numerous pinpoint pustules. The eruption initially involved the acral surfaces including the dorsal and palmar hands as well as dorsal feet, and it progressed proximally to the remainder of the extremities and lower abdomen.
