Abstract

Background: Tinea cruris is a common fungal infection worldwide. Most common pathogens include Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton rubrum, and T mentagrophytes complex. E floccosum is an anthropophilic fungi which primarily causes tinea cruris and tinea pedis. This study aimed to determine causative pathogens of tinea cruris particularly E floccosum.
