Abstract

As COVID-19 persists and the number of people with prior infection increases, the long-term sequelae are still being discovered. These long-term effects create the potential for previously infected to seek care in the emergency department (ED). The objective this study is to determine if there is an association between COVID-19 infection and subsequent ED utilization and to describe the reason for return visits.
