Abstract
Background: Clinical reasoning (CR) is a core competency that all residents must acquire prior to entering clinical practice. No data exist regarding what methods are used to assess dermatology trainees. Our group developed and piloted a Dermatology Residency Program Director (DRPDs) survey to determine what methods are used to assess CR skills.
