Abstract
The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM)'s annual meeting is the world's premier event in nuclear medicine, with an astounding program of scientific, technical and educational sessions covering all fields of this discipline. This year, the 33rd edition of this meeting was to be held in Vienna, Austria, but due to the coronavirus (COVID-19;SARS-COV-2) pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions, it was rescheduled to a virtual meeting. The meeting comprised 8 days of live sessions and virtual content (posters and oral presentations), with over 1,000 papers presented, and brought together physicians from many specialties as well as specialists in radiochemistry, pharmacy and physics, among other professionals. Parallel to the meeting, there was a virtual industry exhibition, where more than 50 companies showcased their innovations in radiopharmaceutical products and medical imaging technologies. This report will cover some of the presentations about radiopharmaceutical product candidates delivered at the meeting. © 2021 Clarivate Analytics.
