Abstract

For many years, the development of tinnitus and/or hearing loss (THL) in patients receiving chronic salicylate therapy has been demonstrated. We investigated whether the subjective complaint of tinnitus and/or hearing loss, in the setting of acute salicylate ingestion, will correlate with a higher salicylate level.
