Abstract

A 61-year-old female presented several months after an abrupt onset of multiple pruritic, hyperpigmented papules that began on the temporal region and progressed to involve the entire face and neck. She denied using new products on her skin or recent illnesses. Physical exam revealed multiple hyperpigmented lichenified papules involving the face, neck, and chest. Punch biopsies from the face and neck revealed unusual multifocal pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia radiating down from a distorted hyperplastic follicle.
