Abstract

Peyronie's disease (PD) and erectile dysfunction (ED) can both be treated by placement of a penile prosthesis (PP). After PP placement, persistent penile curvature may be addressed with maneuvers such as penile modeling or PD plaque incision/excision with or without patch grafts. Outcomes data regarding the use of patch grafts during the same operation as penile prostheses is sparse. The purpose of this study is to analyze and present our institution's experience using patch grafts to correct residual penile curvature after PP placement. The study aims to verify that these procedures can be safely and efficiently conducted at the same operation. After IRB approval, all patients who underwent PP surgery from October 2011 through April 2017 at our university were identified. All surgeries that concurrently involved a patch graft procedure to correct residual PD curvature at the time of IPP were then isolated. The pre- and post-operative demographics, as well as intra-operative findings, were collected for each patient.
