Abstract

Poor insulin injection site rotation can culminate in lipohypertrophy. Injection of insulin into these sites can lead to reduced and slowed insulin delivery, increased glycemic variability, greater insulin doses and occasional hypoglycemia. The mCPN study assessed the utility of a site rotation aid on improving injection site rotation.
