Abstract

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) mandates CBT training during child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. Despite the training requirement, there is a lack of universally accepted standard methods for CBT supervision and training of psychiatrists. The high variability of CBT supervision across programs poses a challenge in meeting the milestone competencies designated by the current accreditation system for child and adolescent fellowships. We will share the milestone competency-based model for CBT training developed using well-defined principles of adult learning.
