Abstract

Periorificial dermatitis (POD) is an acneiform or rosacea-like eruption found in both children and adults. Although POD is not a rare disease, the study about its clinical characteristics has not been investigated well, especially in childhood patients. This study aimed to investigate the clinical findings and severity of POD in Korea and difference between childhood and adult POD. We retrospectively reviewed medical records and clinical photos of 131 patients diagnosed with POD in the Pusan National University Hospital (Busan and Yangsan) for 17 years (2003-2021).
