Abstract
Poliosis is frequently reported in patients with vitiligo. Poliosis of eyelashes are conspicuous especially in dark-haired subjects, and cause profound impacts on the patient’s daily lives. In addition, eyelash poliosis is rarely recovered with conventional treatment modalities, and there is currently no proper management for poliosis. Nineteen vitiligo patients with poliosis of eyelashes unresponsive to conventional treatments were subjected to eyelash dying. Eyelash dyeing was performed using commercial dyeing agent.
