Abstract
AbstractWe have developed a new electron gun (PX gun) for 41cm color display tube. This electron gun achieves 32% decrease of number of parts, and 25% reduction of the cost with improvement of focus performance. This gun adopts the single Dynamic‐Beam‐Forming system (single DBF), a bi‐potential focus lens, new triode, optimizing G2‐G3 dimension to reduce the influence of assembly accuracy, optimum side‐beam‐trajectory system, and a new main lens.
